This is a recording of a radio interview done with Grandma Keefer about what Christmas was like for her as a young girl. I digitized this from a cassette tape sent to Dad from his mom. Unfortuantely, the interview is basically unintelligible because the recording is so bad. I even sent it to the audio engineer of a musician friend to see if he might be able to do anything with it, and he couldn't. But Grandma Wertime recorded a little before the interview and some after, and I've included an edited version of just her voice, since that is much clearer. There was no indication of what year it was, but based on what she says at the end — for me to work hard in school and for Nicole to play hard — I'm guessing mid-to late 1970s, before Nicole started school. The beginning sounds cut off, but that's all there was on the tape. Enjoy!
